There are two kinds of American

Both want to see this a great country but have opposite ideas of what greatness is or whats worth giving up to have that greatness. Both see the other as everything that holds back the progress they'd like to see.

Some would like to see Johnson's "great society" become extended and fully realized

Others would like to see it's last remnants dismantled figuring the school of hard knocks and extreme poverty will whip the lower classes into shape somehow, and jails for them if they want to try to improvise an easier way to wealth.

We hate what they've done to this country, these conservatives

They hate what we've done

We can't have it both ways, we know it... and well we know each other is the obstacle to living in the world we want.

And in that, well, it's very easy to forget about moderation, about democratic process, it's very easy to let that frustration and hatred at the stance of the other turn into hate for the individual people who will not yeild their personal beleifs which stand in our way.

So on this PhucDem, know that the hostility you feel for us, we feel for you. Know that the frustration you have that Liberals exist and stand in the way of the world you want, that's the frustration we feel with people like you in our way from the world we want. We face off in democracy now, but one day as in the civil war you might be in my crosshairs, and I might be in yours, and there will be no love lost and no grieving at the death of the other.

There are people who interact and people who distract. Trolls live to distract but they are usually a bit more well hidden than this one.

Anyway, I vote to shun the troll. There's many more important issues to talk about rather than wasting our time with people who have nothing better to do than instigate and provoke.
